Privacy Policy
Last updated: April 26, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains what information Rydor ("we", "us") collects when you visit getrydor.com, how we use it, who we share it with, and the rights you have over it.
1. Information we collect
When you join the waitlist
- Email address — required to notify you when Rydor launches.
- Role and language preference — only if you select them (buyer/seller, English/Spanish).
Automatically collected when you visit the Site
- Hashed IP address — your IP is one-way hashed with a private salt before storage. We never store the raw IP. Used for rate limiting and abuse prevention.
- User agent — your browser/OS string, used for debugging and analytics.
- Referrer and UTM parameters — to understand which channel brought you to the Site.
- Anonymous analytics events — page views, scroll depth, button clicks, language toggles. Collected via Vercel Analytics, which does not use cookies and does not track you across sites.
- Performance data — page load timings via Vercel Speed Insights.
2. How we use your information
- To notify you when Rydor launches in your area.
- To send relevant updates about the product before launch.
- To prevent abuse, spam, and fraud.
- To understand how visitors find and use the Site so we can improve it.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not use it for third-party advertising profiles.
3. Service providers
We share data only with the providers that help us operate the Site:
- Supabase (database hosting) — stores your email and the metadata listed above.
- Resend (email delivery) — receives your email address only when we send you a notification.
- Vercel (hosting + analytics) — serves the Site and collects anonymous performance/usage data.
Each provider acts as a data processor and is contractually bound to protect your information.
4. Cookies and similar technologies
We use a small amount of localStorage to remember your language preference. We do not use third-party advertising cookies. See our Cookie Policy for details.
5. Retention
We keep waitlist data until Rydor launches and you become an active user, or until you ask us to delete it — whichever comes first. If you unsubscribe before launch, we delete your record within 30 days unless retention is required by law.
6. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you have the right to:
- Know what personal information we hold about you.
- Request a copy of it.
- Ask us to correct or delete it.
- Opt out of communications at any time.
California residents have additional rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right to know, delete, correct, and limit the use of sensitive personal information.
To exercise any of these rights, email hello@getrydor.com from the email address on your record. We will respond within 30 days.
7. Security
We use industry-standard practices to protect your data: TLS in transit, encryption at rest, hashed IPs, server-only access keys, and rate limiting on our API. No system is perfectly secure, but we take your data seriously.
8. Children
The Site is not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a child has submitted information, contact us and we will delete it.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy. The "Last updated" date above will change. Material changes will be communicated to you by email if you are on the waitlist.
10. Contact
